About French Meadows Summer Camp

The George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation cordially invites you to the 44th Annual French Meadows Summer Camp to be held in California in the majestic Tahoe National Forest, July 13-21, 2013 (early arrival date for staff: July 12). French Meadows Camp is operated under a special use permit from the U.S. Forest Service.

Tent placement for 2013 is limited to three group campgrounds with designated perimeters:

1. Ponderosa (site of lecture, dining, kitchen and campfire areas)
2. Lodgepole (site of the kid's camp and across from registration)
3. Aspen (secluded area, closest to the stream, longer walk to events)

Each campground has a limit (75, 25, 25 respectively) and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. If your campground choice is already filled, we will place you in the next campground on your list.
